The European 7FP project TIMBRE (Tailored Improvement for Brownfield Regeneration in Europe) (www.timbre-project.eu) - supports end-users in overcoming existing barriers by having developed customised problem- and target-oriented packages of technologies, approaches and management tools for a brownfields reuse planning and remediation.

INSPIRATION

INSPIRATION (Integrated Spatial Planning, Land Use and Soil Management Research Action) (/www.inspiration-h2020.eu) is international project under Horizon 2020 Programme, which aims to coordination and support of action to develop a Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) for Europe on soil, land use and land management.

NEW METHODS FOR IMPROVING BROWNFIELD REGENERATION TO OPTIMIZE DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES

Research project with title New methods for improving brownfield regeneration to optimize decision-making processes (funded by the Technology Agency of The Czech Republic, 2014-2015; New Methods) aims at developing methods for optimization of decission-making processes for brownfields regeneration as a versatile tool used by state and local governement, organization involved in regional development and spatial planning, developers, brownfield site owners, or prospective tenants. New methods for verification, objectification and updating existing brownfields databases through the GIS will be developed as well.

WEB APPLICATION FOR THE DYNAMISM OF SPATIAL DATA REPRESENTING INDUSTRIAL MONUMENTS THROUGH LOCATION-BASED SERVICES

Research project funded by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic with title Web application for the dynamism of spatial data representing industrial monuments through location-based services (2016-2017). The aim of the project is the easy access to industrial monuments for tourists through a sophisticated and intuitive tool for the dynamisation of data about objects of industrial sites into the environment of augmented reality, respectively broader concept of location-based services. To achieve this, the project suggests operational platform in the form of a web application that integrates the requirements for an easy interface and fast conversion of data for the main applications using the basis of augmented reality.
